The Crazy Horse Volksmarch is a bi-annual organized hike that covers 10K or 6.2 miles of woodlands terrain in the southern Black Hills of South Dakota.

Annual Black Hills Roundup
Sunday, June 30, 2024 to Thursday, July 4, 2024

The Black Hills Roundup Rodeo in Belle Fourche is one of the oldest continuously held outdoor rodeos in the USA.

Spearfish Downtown Friday Nights

Every Friday from 6 to 9 pm, come enjoy the fun!

Live music, food, beer, crafts, and activities for kids. This downtown block party has everything you need for a fun-filled evening with friends and family!

The season runs from June 9nd through August 25th.

42nd Annual Black Hills Bluegrass Festival
Friday, June 28, 2024 to Sunday, June 30, 2024

Join us at the Rush No More Resort & Campground, located off I-90, Exit 37, near Sturgis, SD. Shows are held RAIN OR SHINE in a lovely outdoor concert area with a large building we'll use  for concerts as well as a couple of indoor spaces available for jamming in case of rain.

Sturgis Volksmarch

The Volksmarch, German for the “People’s March,” is an annual Sturgis event that has been happening for decades. Sturgis Volksmarches are sanctioned by the Black Hills Volkssport Association and follow a new and noteworthy trail route each year for participating hikers.

Remembrance Day for The Battle of the Little Big Horn and Ruth Ziolkowski

The first night blast of the year is June 26. It celebrates the birthday of the late Mrs. Korczak (Ruth) Ziolkowski (1926 - 2014), wife of the late Crazy Horse sculptor.
